Led by tres player, vocalist and original member of the Buena Vista Social Club recording sessions Juan de Marcos González, the Afro-Cuban All Stars are a powerhouse ensemble that features musicians from Sierra Maestra and Los Van Van. This multigenerational 13-piece big band explores Cuba’s rich musical heritage, from swinging dance music to tender ballads of heartbreak. Their larger-than-life sound has helped spark a worldwide infatuation with the infectious rhythms of Cuba. The All Stars’ concert is sure to be a rapturous evening of color, zest and Latin joy.
