Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel Ballroom (1926-27)

Reginald Johnson, who was also the architect for Lotusland, designed this venerable Spanish style hotel. Its grand Loggia Ballroom, which features an 18-foot ceiling, crystal chandeliers, a fireplace and French doors opening onto an outdoor patio, is sure to be an inspiring setting for dazzling chamber music. »

The large Georgian style music room of The Peppers, one of Montecito’s oldest estates, was designed by Julia Morgan, the architect of Hearst Castle. With its oak flooring, mahogany surrounds and redwood heartwood paneling, this is a charming venue in which to listen to Renaissance love songs. »

The County Courthouse is the best example of Santa Barbara’s Spanish Colonial Revival architectural style. The Mural Room, with the epic sweep of its historical murals, painted by Dan Sayre Groesbeck, a scenic designer for director Cecil B. DeMille, is a dramatic setting for a concert by the LAGQ. »
