A Metropolitan Opera star acclaimed for her title roles in Carmen and Samson et Dalila, Denyce Graves has been hailed by the Washington Post as “almost too good to be true—a vital artist, a beautiful woman, a regal presence.” Graves and Jones’ varied and exciting repertoire includes Italian, French, German, Spanish and English songs, operatic arias, American spirituals and songs from Broadway. This concert is Denyce Graves’ Santa Barbara recital debut.
