Recruited from around the globe, the 14 dancers of the internationally acclaimed NDT II make their much-anticipated Santa Barbara debut. They bring youthful vigor, breathtaking athleticism and brilliant technique to challenging contemporary choreography. Performing to music by Mozart, Haydn and Stravinsky, the company will dance works by NDT’s revered artistic advisor Jirí Kylián, and other leading European dancemakers—demonstrating once again how “ballistic modern dance doesn’t come better than this” (Sunday Independent).
