Legendary ambassador of Indian classical music Ravi Shankar is the world’s foremost sitar player. Throughout his storied career he has popularized his instrument and Indian musical concepts, collaborating with artists ranging from George Harrison to Philip Glass. His daughter, sitar prodigy Anoushka Shankar, has won fans from Madonna to Zubin Mehta for her absorbing and thrilling playing. They will perform together in Santa Barbara for the first time.
